Thanksgiving is in two days. While we still aren't sure how the hell that happened, like it or not, the holiday season is upon us.

Current Obsession: Pastel, A Mane Event

If there's a front-runner for biggest trend of Spring 2010, that would have to be: pastel.

And not just on clothes. Hair too.

In New York, Proenza Schouler sent out models with seagreen, lilac and lagoon blue hair to complement their scuba-chic collection. Later in Paris, Giles' cat-walkers had cotton-candy like streaks to go with his poufed and pretty confections. And, perhaps sealing the trend, was none other than an Olsen. Ashley, just last week at the MOCA Tim Burton opening sported some streaks of her own.

We admit, we did it ourselves too (see below), but we like to say Ashley Olsen copied off of us. ;)

Reminds us of our My Little Pony, Lady Lovelylocks and Moondreamers obsessions back in the day.

Posen's New Project

If you're like us, you probably love ogling wunderkind designer Zac Posen's creations, and can pretty much spot his intricate detailing and silhouettes a mile away, but alas, cant afford to spend thousands for some pretty Posen pieces.

Well perhaps that can change. Word just broke that come Spring, Zac Posen will be launching a new, lower-priced line titled Z Spoke, to be sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue.

And apparently it's a whole new side of Zac too. Known mostly for being a celeb-driven, evening-wear brand, Posen wanted Z Spoke to be American sportswear with an "urban hipster quality." The 60-piece range, made up of mostly separates, starts at $78 for a tee and up to $675 for a knit dress.

Judging from the images that WWD obtained, we can't wait to check it out when it finally hits stores. And perhaps get one of those cute little dresses for ourselves.
