Among the sea of pastels at Spring 2010 fashion week, there was a running theme of graphic black and white looks that showed up in New York at Zero + Maria Cornejo, Tommy Hilfiger and Matthew Ames, in London at Issa, Jaeger, PPQ and Josh Goot, Milan at Kinder Aggugini and Paris at Givenchy and Jean Paul Gaultier. Whether it's bold stripes, dizzying checks, or geometrical, the contrasting look is at once both classic and modern, season-less and totally chic.
